5.11 Taconic Weighted Vest tearing at seem after less than 30 days of use

After using my Taconic weighted vest daily for the last 3 weeks one of the seams for the right shoulder straps has began tearing apart. I use dual 20lb plates for a total of 40lbs which I believe is the limit for this vest. Prior to the Taconic vest I had used the 5.11 TicTac weighted vest for the past 2 years. The last 6 months of which were with the dual 20lb (40lbs total) plates. Not a single issue with seams tearing. The only reason I upgraded to the Taconic was because the after 2 years of use the padding on the TicTac vest had all but disappeared. Anyone else having this issue with their Taconic vest? Hoping it’s just a faulty stitch with my particular unit as I really do enjoy this vest. Planning on just doing an exchange for a new Taconic vest as long as this is not a widespread issue

Help on Rush 24 2.0 measurement

Hi all!

Would need a favor from the community, if anyone that has this bag, able to help me measure the internal dimensions of the bag depth? As I do not have any local shops selling this bag to do measurements first.

As per official specs it stated 8" / 20cm depth, but from what I'm eyeballing (based on the amount of the molle column at the side), it might be max 7" / 18cm depth only?

Hope to be wrong, as I need the depth to be 8" / 20cm from base to top, as I'm hoping to put a relatively rigid camera insert with a depth of 8.27" / 21cm inside of it, which I will need to squeeze in a bit if it comes out to be actual true 8" / 20cm depth, but I think there's some give for such small amount.

UK Battlefield player hoping for a spare promo code

I hope this kind of post is okay.
I'm a Battlefield player from the UK and I've been trying to get the 5.11 collaboration skin for Battlefield 6. Unfortunately, the promotion requires a $50 purchase through the 5.11 website, and as far as I can tell, the offer isn't really accessible from the UK.
I completely understand that the codes have value and I'm not expecting anyone to give one away. However, if anyone happens to have a spare code they aren't planning to use, I would be incredibly grateful if you'd consider passing it along.

Truewerk pants vs Ridge

i’ve been wearing the ridge pants for the last 3 years now, pretty much daily.
(i’m also a fan of the icon in the winter)
anyways, the pocket configuration on the truewerk T1, T2, T3 pants have been intriguing me over the last month.

i’m a big, buy to wear for the next few years, type of person. so i’m really cautious of changing something that’s not broken, and suggestions?

I’m a huge fan of the meridian Pants, but I’ve had 4 and all have torn in the crotch or were destroyed. I love them but at 100$ a pair and no way to get new ones, as well as no sales, I’m kind of screwed, are there any cheaper brands on Amazon that sell similar?

Rush 72 durability question. Is this normal after a year?

Does the Rush72 truly live up to its reputation of being durable? I have one and so far after one year. the top compression strap's seam is almost falling off, and on the right side of my beavertail compartment the mesh also has a seam of nearly a centimetre busted off.

best alternative strap for the lvc6?

I love the small bag, it's my favorite for EDC.

I got it also for the strap that has a cross-body option. Sadly, I find it constantly moving and I have difficulty keeping it close to the chest.

Has anybody changed it for something similar that in your opinion is better?

Help me identify the model please!

I’m a female but these are the men’s pants. Excuse the wrinkles. I need to know what to order because I have two similar pairs but these are MUCH better than the other because I like the band in the waist that stretches and the snap button. My other pair has a regular button and no stretch in the waistband. I also think these are slightly more fitted? The style tag in the pants somehow ripped off, these are at least 2 years old. The lighting in the pic makes them look super faded but in real life there’s barely any fading. I love these things but I need a smaller size.

My wife was given a box of about 10 of these shoulder type bags from her friend. They had belonged to her dad. They all have 5.11 patches in them, but the camo patterns are weird. I can’t find any other markings in the bags except for the patch. Any ideas what these are? Are they really 5.11 or some weird knock off?
